Ontario International Airport is situated in the beautiful county of San Bernardino County in the state of California. The airport saw nearly 6.2 million passengers last year, which was a decline of 13.5% from 2007, which was before the recession.

There are currently eleven major US airlines that operate in and out of the airport with Southwest transporting the majority of passengers with a share of nearly 50%. The other ten major airlines include United Airlines, Delta Airlines, US Airways, and American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Great Lakes Airlines, Horizon Air, United Express, and Delta Connection. There is one international airline that flies out of the airport and that is AeroMexico, which flies to Guadalajara and Mexico City.
Currently there are four cargo airlines that fly in and out of the airport and they are UPS, FedEx, ABX Air, and Ameriflight. UPS uses the airport as a major hub for connections to the southwest.
The population of Ontario, California is just over 170,000 people and is home to the very popular Ontario Motor Speedway and the city was named after the province in Canada.
